What you perceive is what it is.

Anyway, a couple of lighter-toned things...

You must add yourself to the million-odd carbon-based lifeforms who've watched this:

Now this is fucking brilliance.

Also this wonderful obscurity from the pen of Dr. Theodore S. Geisel:

You can find the links to parts 2 & 3 under "Related Videos".

And, finally, a whole channel for your amusement and education:

Over a hundred British public information films (PIFs, similar to America's public service announcements, but often more disturbing), mostly from the '60s and '70s. One on driver safety looks like slapstick comedy until the final shot of a hapless motorist's head crashing through a windshield. Also get treated to a young British kite-flyer getting electrocuted when his kite tangles with a high-traction power line, and another darkly comic segment in which a guy happily returns from the hospital, only to literally have the rug slip out from under him thanks to a highly polished floor. On a happier note, keep an eye out for Jon "The Third Doctor" Pertwee teaching your kids how to safely cross the street using the famous Splink mnemonic.

I love YouTube. It's better than TV.
